Decolonization is a term that’s thrown about a lot but how do we practice it?

What does it mean to reconnect with your real roots? We are challenging the idea of a single, uniform white identity and instead explore the complex histories that were often erased to consolidate white supremacy in the U.S.

Decolonization shouldn’t be drudgerous and boring. This workshop invites you to reclaim Irish heritage through language, poetry, and art, rediscovering stories, traditions, and expressions that go deeper than the usual plastic paddy shamrocks and leprechauns tropes.

Not Irish but Irish curious? This space isn’t only for those with Irish ancestry. Anyone curious about culture, creativity, and decolonizing is welcome to come play. By stepping into another culture we can all feel how identity, history, power and oppression intersect and we can have meaningful conversations around this work.
